raised the red flag. >>> and good morning, everybody. thanks for being with us on this friday morning. we begin, now, with the first woman executed here in the u.s. in five years. she's been put to death in virginia. >> theresa lewis' case gained international attention, not just because of her gender. but supporters argue that she was not smart enough to carry out the crimes. here's brad wheelis. >> reporter: theresa lewis became the first woman executed in virginia in almost 50 years. lewis was sentenced to detd in 2003, for hiring two killers who shot her husband and her stepson. according to prosecutors, the two were lured into lewis' scheme by sex and money. the money was to promise to split the son's and husband's life insurance with him. lewis confessed to the plot. >> i just wish i could take it back. >> reporter: according to a witness of the execution, these were her last words. >> she said, i want kathy to know that i love you. and i'm very sorry. >> reporter: the two men she conspired with to commit the killings were sentenced to life imprisonment. one killed himself in pr

kuebler joins us now to explain police may have found more than just one lieutenant. >> reporter: the images were sharp and able to help police make an arrest within hours of reracing the home video surveillance. a camera system the victim says may prove for himself and possibly others a very worthy investment. the target was this home along brown browns bridge road in highland. unassuming at first glance it's how the owner would like it. until you get closer. this is one of four security cameras he installed just weeks ago after the first time he was burglarized. cameras, police say, that caught jeremy hall clear as day. >> i just got the fen call about an hour ago and it was really great news. i feel a lot better. >> the owner of the home would rather stay off camera instead letting the images of his new home security system speak for itself. he was hoping when it he handed it over to police it would help. little did he know it would be mere hours after he released it to the media that hall would be picked up and booked. >> i thought i would never find anything but of course i got h

get started. talk us through what we're going to be doing. >> the first thing you want to do is make the sauce. it's very simple. four or five ingredients. nan prik pao. >> i have to stop you. what is that? >> thai chili paste, shrimp paste in it also. you can substitute a chili paste for it but there really is nothing like it. it's real simple. take a tablespoon of that. a little ketchup. then oyster sauce. and a little bit of sugar to balance it. >> oh, okay. >> and thai fish sauce. off got to be careful, it's really strong. we're going to use just a few drops. that's really all you do. mix it together. it's very simple. >> you've got a nice little paste there now. >> exactly. i like these pork tenderloins. real easy to cook, tender. the most important thing with that, you want to cut it across the grain. you can see the grains there. you want to go across the grains and just slice it. just some vegetables. this is what i use. it doesn't have to be these vegetables. i like a shiitake mushroom, red onion, garlic, scallions. these are ty long beans. these are thai chili. if you don't
